In this assignment we used Adobe photo shop to learn how to retouch a image to look much better than it was before. We used a photo of the car taken off the creator Noelle Jacobs. To make it retouching on. We also had to follow step by step directions in order to make the retouching look similar to the original image. This assignment for me was difficult for me because I'm still getting used to using Adobe Photoshop. I learned how to use the clone stamp, how to remove the background, and how to make things darker and lighter by using levels to change the level of the colors.

In this assignment I took 66 photos of nature and landscape. I find this assignment difficult because the there wasn't a lot of lighting because it was cloudy. Also it wasn't as bright I hoped it would be because some of my pictures aren't as bright as others. Best photo Shutter Speed: 1/600 Aperture: f/5.0 ISO: 1600 I enjoyed this assignment because it was out of my comfort zone. Normally I don't take pictures of nature. I basically take pictures of me and my dog. I learned that I have to go up close to make the subject pop out more. Also, to make sure the lighting is pointing directly on the subject on hand.
This week I took 54 photos of my little sister around the house and outside! Taking the photos this week was a lot easier than last week. There was a little challenge for this week because it was breezy outside and it was hard to take accurate photos of my sister. Best photo Shutter Speed: 1/800 Aperture: f/4.5 ISO: 800 I really enjoyed this assignment because I got to work with my little sister that is literary my best friend. What went really well was that my sister was willing to give up her free time just for me to do a photo shoot with her. Surprisingly she was able to listen to all of the directions I gave her. Hopefully in the next assignment, I can focus more on the important details of a subject.
In this assignment we had to follow step by step to create pop art. We took a random picture of ourselves and we made copies of the original photo. We changed the colors of each photo so that you can see the hue/saturation that you can create. Personally, I haven't used Photo Shop before but this was my first time using it. It was challenging because there is so many different buttons to click on and so many different options to choose from. It was kind of overwhelming. I had no clue that Photo Shop existed until this assignment.
This week I'm gonna be doing people. I'm going to be taking 54 pictures of my sister. Hopefully this week will be a lot easier because my sister actually listens to me. Wish me luck!
This week I took 54 photos of my dog around the house. It was a challenge to take photos of my dog but here are some photos I took of him. Enjoy! Best photo Shutter speed- 1/60 Aperture- f/7.1 ISO- 1600 I really enjoyed this assignment because it was literary based off my dog. What went well was that my dog "Luke" was willing to hold still during all of the photos I took of him. Hopefully in the next assignments in the future, I can learn how to proper edit photos to make them pop out more and create more character in the photos.
The topic I choose for my first assignment is animals. I will be shooting pictures of my dog. In this assignment I hope to create some images that"ll have color and some that"ll have black and white. Hopefully my dog will stay still for the pictures. Even though he is really active when comes to distractions. I hope the pictures will come out the way I want them. Wish me luck!
In the images shown, I was trying to show how shutter speed can make an impact on your photos. In order to create a photo just right, you have to set the shutter speed to make the image blurry or extremely focused. In the images shown, I was trying to make images different from each other. I was trying to get a different balance in each picture. Aperture can make a huge difference in lighting and depth of field. A fast shutter speed makes the photo focused.
A slow shutter speed makes the photo blurry. A large aperture makes the photo bright. A small aperture makes the photo dark.
